Enjoy your stay in the Ozark Mountains in this handcrafted, luxurious log cabin nestled next to the Ozark National Forest. The cabin features an open living area, two twin loveseat sleepers and a couch. 5x5 windows and a vaulted ceilings for a spectacular view of the surrounding forest and mountains. A full kitchen and bath. One double bedroom and a cozy sleeping loft with a double bed, twin bed and double futon couch. The cabin can sleep up to 9 people. TV/VCR, CD player, microwave, 10x33 wrap around porch, Barbecue grill, picnic table, fire pit. |

Here on the property we have three ponds for fishing with bass, bream, catfish and sunperch. We have several hiking trails, from 15 min. to pack a lunch and explore the forest.
Attractions
The Buffalo National River: experience the canoeing, fishing, we’re accessible to the early spring floating on the upper river and the summer floating on the middle river. It’s just a 60, miles to Cotter for trout fishing in the White River as well, local shuttle service and canoe rental available.
Hiking Trails: our area has more hiking trails than any other section of the river and there are additional trails in the National Forest. See the most photographed rock in Arkansas, Hawksbill Crag; the awesome Pedestal Rocks, rock climber’s favorite Sam's Throne; beautiful Lost Valley and more.
Historic Eureka Springs: looking for crafts, shows, and unique gift shops? A day trip to Eureka Springs, a Victorian spa city, can include attractions like The Great Passion Play and the narrow gauge railroad. It's just a pleasant hour's drive, tour the famous Crescent Hotel, and the church entered through the dome, enjoy fine dining, and see the turn of the century homes and buildings.
Jasper: we’re just 12 miles south of Jasper for dining, and 24 miles south of Harrison for shopping.
Branson, Missouri: has great music shows and is an easy drive, you can choose from country music, gospel, and comedy shows by some of the biggest names in the business.
Springfield, Missouri: is another good day trip to to see the famous Bass Pro Shop with its wildlife exhibits.
Mountain Biking: miles of old roads and Forest Service trails and roads are open to bike riders.
Scenic Drives: Reader's Digest calls Arkansas Highway 7 one of the top ten scenic drives in America. Be sure to take your camera for some breathtaking mountaintop views.
Wilderness Adventures: We have three wilderness areas nearby; the upper Buffalo, Ponca, Richland.
Craft and Antique shopping: local shops offer a variety of crafts and antiques at very reasonable prices. |
