Description
Nestled along the South Fork of Clear Creek at an elevation of 7,700 feet, visitors can experience a variety of alpine environments to explore and to suit almost any taste! Mountain trail hiking around South Fork is some of the most spectacular you'll ever experience. Lakes, streams, forest, beautiful mountain peaks, scenery, and abundant wildlife all provide an incredible playground for the outdoor enthusiast. Colorful wildflowers cover the mountain parks in the spring and early summer and photographic opportunities are endless. Our rustic cabins provide relaxing mountain lodging. Many of our cabins cabins are nestled along the South Fork of Clear Creek.
Directions:
To find us, exit off of I-90 or I-25 into Buffalo, Wyoming. Follow the signs and turn west on U.S. Highway 16 West towards Yellowstone National Park and travel 16 easy miles up into the Bighorn Mountains to South Fork Mountain Lodge. |

Our Lodge and cabins are authentic log buildings with some dating back to the early 1900's. Our log structures reflect various unique architectural styles found throughout this century. Lodging packages are also available for those who wish to combine dining or other activities with their stay at South Fork Mountain Lodge. Many cabins overlook the picturesque South Fork of Clear Creek. You can relax on the deck of each cabin to the sound of the rustling water. If you enjoy fishing, the South Fork of Clear Creek has Rainbow and German Brown Trout. |

Activities and Attractions |
South Fork Mountain Lodge provides a great starting place for hiking and backpacking in the Bighorn Mountains and Bighorn National Forest. Just a few minutes hike from South Fork and the hiker is presented with a spectacular view of the peaks of the Bighorn Mountains. Young and old can enjoy the true beauty and magic of Wyoming's Bighorn Mountains and Bighorn National Forest on horseback. We offer hourly and daily rides from our corrals at South Fork Mountain Lodge. We also provide fully-outfitted pack or drop camp trips into the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area of the Bighorn National Forest.

Rate details
# Cabins rent for $125.00 to $250.00 per night depending on the cabin. Cabins sleep from 2 to 8 people. We have rustic and modern cabins available.
# A 50% deposit is needed at the time of cabin booking to guarantee your reservation.
# All deposits are non-refundable.
# Once a reservation is made, there are no cancellations. You will be responsible for the remaining 50%.
# Checks or cash are preferred for payment, but we do accept MasterCard and Visa.
