Description
Our secluded, 2 bedroom, 1.25 bath cabin is the perfect mountain get-a-way for couples or small families (4 Adults + 2 Kids Max). We offer an affordable, comfortable clean cabin designed for relaxing, reflecting, and reconnecting. Located in the heart of Virginia's Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area, on 15 acres with beautiful views of Iron Mt. and Straight Mt. Only 1/4 mile to the Appalachian Trail and 1/2 mi to the Virginia Creeper Bicycling Trail. Fish for free in our neighbor's stocked trout pond. Just 2 miles to swimming at Bear Tree State Park's fresh water lake complete with beach, snack bar, and bathhouse. Nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned hospitality.

# DIRECTIONS From the East or South: Head west and pick up US 77 north to 81 west. Exit at Chilhowie . Take Rt. 600 west following signs to Damascus. Go through Konnarock where Rt. 600 becomes 58 West. Turn left onto Grassy Ridge Rd. (Rt 859). Stay left & travel up where the road splits. Turn left onto New Cut Rd with the Red Gate. Follow New Cut Road to the left of the gray cottage and then up the hill. Deer Meadows is at the top of the hill on the right.
