Description High Country Vacation Cabins offers two Montana cabin rentals: Loon?s Nest and Trout Haven. The Loon's Nest cabin is a Montana vacation home on Tetrault Lake that comfortably accommodates up to six guests. This home has two private bedrooms, both with queen size beds. It also has a full kitchen, and a large bathroom with tub and shower. The sunken living room also has a queen size sofa bed available for use. Air mattresses available upon request. There is a wonderful fireplace in the living room overlooking the lake, and firewood is supplied. The entire living room has floor to ceiling windows and cedar, so just kick back and relax in front of the fire while watching the fish gently surface on the lake. That is, if you can take your eyes off the wonderful mountain view! With this cabin you'll have AWESOME lake fly fishing just 100 feet from your door as you're located right on Tetrault Lake (this lake has been stocked with rainbow and native cutthroat trout by the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks). In addition, this is a very quiet lake as waterskiing is not allowed. This lake is restricted to boats and motors of LESS than 10 horsepower. Not to worry, as you're only minutes away from Lake Koocanusa and Sophie Lake for waterskiing or jet ski rentals. The Trout Haven Cabin is a made in Montana vacation home on Tetrault Lake with floor to ceiling tongue and groove cedar throughout. This cabin will comfortably accommodate up to six guests. This home has one private bedroom with queen bed and one set of bunk beds done in "skip peel" log. There is also a queen sofa sleeper available in the living room. In addition, it has a full kitchen and a large bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. From this cabin you can sit on your deck and see the reflection of the mountains off of Carpenter Lake which is only 100 feet from your deck. So, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the soothing view of the lake, the surfacing trout, and the surrounding Canadian Rockies! Directions Our cabins are located 9 miles northwest of Eureka. Take Highway 93 north to Highway 37. Take a left on Highway 37 and go approximately 4 miles. Take a right on Douglas Hiil Road and follow it for approximately 1 mile. Take a right on Sophie Lake Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles to your destination. Amenities  Both cabins are equipped with electric heat, washer, dryer, laundry soap, hand soap, satellite TV with over 500 channels, DVD, VCR, full kitchen, stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, spice rack, picnic tables, lounge chairs, wrap-around decks, paddleboats, canoe, firewood, lifejackets, and gas barbecue grills.
