Description Nestled in a lovely aspen setting, the Travelers Rest offers cabins at East Glacier and just minutes from the east entrance to Glacier National Park and the East Glacier Amtrack Station. It is equal distance to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park and the St. Mary?s Entrance. It is close to the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, the Great Bear Wilderness, the Two Medicine Area, the Lewis and Clark Forest, and several Lewis and Clark sites. Travelers Rest has four tightly-constructed cabins with open log ceiling, gas fireplace, full private bath, high quality interior appointments, queen beds, kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Nearby recreation includes whitewater rafting and float trips, fishing, horseback riding, boating, golf, and spectacular sightseeing both within and outside Glacier National Park. Shopping, restaurants, and gift shops are close by. In addition, the east side of the park offers great hiking trails and wildlife viewing. Spend a day or a week at Travelers Rest, relax on your cabin?s covered porch, and enjoy spectacular views of aspens, wildflowers, and the Rocky Mountain Front.
