Description
River Rest is a light, airy spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath house overlooking the beautiful valley with a fabulous view of the river winding through it. The cottage is located just 1/2 mile from Pudding Creek Beach, 5 minutes to Fort Bragg and 15 minutes to Mendocino.

It is complete with all the modern conveniences blended with country antique ambiance. The Yellow Sunshine bedroom has two full size beds and the Green Landscape bedroom comes with a queen size brass bed. Each with desk, easy chair, dresser, cable TV and phone. Both bedrooms have a wall of windows facing the splendid English courtyard garden with blooms and lush foliage.
The bright country kitchen boasts a view of the river valley framed in stately trees. It is equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes, and glassware needed for dining in. A six place dining table, and an island with stools provides ample room for meals and conversation.
Continue outside to the lawn where there are chairs, a picnic table, and a barbecue. The living room has two walls of windows for enjoyment of the spectacular scenery: sunsets on the river, ospreys in their aeries, soaring herons, and the historic "Skunk Train" chugging along the opposite cliff, its whistle blows announcing its arrival. There is plenty of soft, cushy seating for indoor entertaining.
