Description At FUBAR Cabin you can enjoy a year around picturesque private retreat situated on 40 acres at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Nestled in a clearing in the woods, this Civil War era rustic two story cabin is surrounded by trees and mountain views, cuddled into the mountainous Jewell Hollow. FUBAR cabin is the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life and to enjoy a retreat with nature. The pond and the creek are just steps away from the front door. What a special place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation! The property borders the Shenandoah National Park and is only minutes from the famous vistas of Skyline Drive and hundreds of miles of hiking trails, the restaurants, and other Park facilities. At the heart of FUBAR Cabin is a Civil War era, two-story, hand-hewn log cabin. Over the years additions have been made to create the present accommodations. Balance, plus 8 1/2 % tax, due 14 days prior to check-in. Cash, check or traveler's checks accepted. Deposit is fully refundable with 14 days notice.
