The Bella Vista mountain cottage sits upon a hilltop with a breath-taking view of the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge mountains. The Bella Vista Cottage is in a great area for birding, hiking, fishing and photo excursions with the George Washington National Forest just out the door and 2 small lakes and the Shenandoah River a short walk away. And then return to just relax in the hot tub or by the fireplace.
The Bella Vista cottage is completely furnished with 2 bedrooms and a futon sofa. A microwave, coffee maker, stove top and extras are in the kitchen. TV, VCR and AC are provided. Please bring your own linens and towels (or can be rented for $10/bed).
Bella Vista is a 'smoke-free', 'pet-free' cottage and open year round.
To expand your visit, just down the road is Shenandoah River Outfitters (www.shenandoahriver.com). There we have a canoe, kayak and tube rental service along with fishing licenses, snacks and a pay phone. Combine your stay at the Bella Vista with an exciting canoeing trip on the "most scenic section" of the Shenandoah River or take a fun relaxing tube float. Trips may be 1 1/2 to 5 hours long.
