Description Chestnut Cottage provides guests with a romantic, private retreat. The cottage is located on a 135 acre working livestock farm in the picturesque Blue Grass Valley of Highland County Virginia. Well appointed, the cottage offers one bedroom (queen bed), gas log stove, full bath, fully equipped kitchen, large deck, and living room with fold out twin bed. Available year round, Chestnut Cottage offers a relaxing Highland County mountain getaway...regardless of the season. Highland County is a unique area in Virginia. With fewer than 2,500 residents, Highland has no traffic, no fast food restaurants, and no shopping malls. Highland does have spectacular mountain scenery, beautiful farms, and friendly people. The climate in Highland is similar to a New England climate.
