Description
The Shenandoah River Blue Heron River Cabin - Sit by the river bank and, as you fish, watch the herons demonstrate their skill. Smallmouth bass, blue gill, sunfish, catfish and carp are just waiting for the perfect fly cast or lure to come their way. Then you can let them go for another day or ?prep the pan? for dinner! Do write in the guest book about your catch--but watch those fish stories!
These these cozy two room log cabins are a simple retreat with each room having a double bed and a single bunk to sleep up to 6. There is a shower bathroom off the back room. A kitchenette with table and chairs is in the front room with dishes & pots, coffee maker (but no oven). The cabin has air conditioning & heat and are ?telephone/TV free?. There is a grill and picnic table just off the porch. The River Cabins are ?smoke-free? cabins. Pets are welcomed. Bring your own linens and towels or rent ours. And remember your fishing pole!!
Excellent fishing, splashing, swimming, canoeing and tubing are just out your door. To expand your visit, back up the road from the cabins is Shenandoah River Outfitters (www.shenandoahriver.com). There we have a canoe, kayak and tube rental service along with fishing licenses, snacks, a telephone and friendly staff at your assistance. The cabin is available year round.
Combine your stay at the Bella Vista/Shenandoah River Log cabins with an exciting canoeing trip on the ?most scenic section? of the Shenandoah River or take a fun relaxing tube float. Trips may be 1 1/2 to 5 hours long. Explore all the areas of the River while you are having Fish! Sun! and Fun!

Weekends- Friday, Saturday $125 per night
Midweek days-Sunday through Thursday $100 per night
Monday to Friday - 4 nights $350 for the partial week-4 nights
7 nights $675
A pet is permitted at $10/night Linens $10/bed

Required deposit: One half of rental fee.
Deposit is refundable up to two weeks in advance.
